世界共有の資源である「空」に 「折り鶴」を飛ばして、何気ない夕焼けを狂おしいほどに染めあげる。世界からヒロシマに届いた「折り鶴」を私たちの手で、空へ。
世界中の想いを羽衣のように纏った「折り鶴」は、あの日の悪夢のような閃光と黒い雨で染まった空を、どこか不安定で憂わしげな現代の世界を繋ぐ大きな空を、狂おしいほどに染めあげる。
We release origami cranes into the sky—our shared global resource—dyeing an ordinary sunset with overwhelming intensity.
The cranes sent to Hiroshima from around the world are returned to the sky by our own hands.Carrying the thoughts of people everywhere like a flowing veil, these cranes transform the sky—once stained by a blinding flash and black rain on that day, and now stretching over an uneasy and uncertain world—into something vividly, almost painfully, alive.

大気中のエアロゾル密度が高くなることで、より青い光が散乱し、夕焼けの赤みが増す現象がある。そこで海の波しぶきから生じる【海塩粒子】による夕陽を再現し、空を染め上げる。気球に塩水を吊るし、空から散らすことで波しぶきを再現する。塩水が上空で散ると微粒子が増え、（＝青い光が多く散乱し、）赤い光が多く届くようになるのだ。
